Carol Hyndman
Carol Hyndman was born on January 20, 1943 in Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia and passed away peacefully on August 7, 2015. Carol’s family, including her now-deceased sister Dorothy and brother Donald, moved to Toronto when she was young. She worked as a bookkeeper for Dominion Stores until she met John Hyndman, and moved to Bruce County to marry him. Here she met the people who would be her life-long friends, and who helped her to reclaim her joy for life after John’s passing in 2007. She loved animals, reading, travelling, dining out with her friends, and the coffee club that brought her so many laughs. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Tammy, Debbie and Scott, and dearly missed by her grandchildren Melissa, Harley, Zoe, Cory, Brandon, Justin and Olivia, as well as her 6 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of Carol’s life at the Port Elgin Legion Hall on Saturday, August 15th beginning at 1 p.m. Please bring your memories to share.
