Leonard de Vries
Leonard de Vries, 89, entered the pearly gates on May 28, 2016 at Elgin Abbey Nursing Home in Chesley. Leonard was born January 19, 1927 in Chesley. He is survived by son Paul (Nancy) of Mildmay, daughter Carol of Stratford, grandchildren Michael (Sarah), Ryan (Cindy), Pamela (Jeff), Leah and Rachel and four great grandchildren. Predeceased by beloved wife Shirley and son Alan who died in infancy. The memorial service will be held at Immanuel Evangelical Missionary Church, Paisley on Saturday, June 4th at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Tony Geense officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation. Leonard’s family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the loving care provided by the staff of Elgin Abbey Nursing Home.
