It is with great sadness that we announce the end of Trevor’s courageous battle with cancer.  Trevor Crilly of Durham, in his seventieth year, died in his home   surrounded by the love of his family.  Trevor was full of life and so truly grateful for everyday he had.  Trevor had a bright soul, was easy to get along with and would help anyone in need.  Trevor is remembered by his countless volunteer hours and time spent with the Durham Rotary Club, Durham Art Gallery, Durham Food Bank, Communities in Bloom – Durham, Town of Durham Council, School Breakfast Program, and Abbeyfield House Durham.  He is remembered by the love of his life and best friend Eilleen Crilly, the best daddy to Stephanie Crilly (Adam McDonald), “The Man, The Myth, The Legendary Pops” to Chloe Harrison (Mark Aljoe), and his loyal four legged son Seamus Crilly.  He will be truly missed by his extended family that he adored deeply, Paul, Jennifer, Liam, Rylan, Julian, and  Lucian McDonald.  Loved by his brothers Andrew Crilly of Scotland, Gavan (Rosemary) Crilly of Oshawa, and sister Sharon (Brian) Craver of Vancouver.  Brother-in-law to Beverly Horton of Stratford, Debra (Ian) MacDougald of   Mitchell, and Shelley (Dan) Harris of Fullerton.  He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.  Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Zena Crilly, father and mother-in-law Charles and Irene Horton, brother-in-law Bill  Horton, and infant grandson Brennan Harrison.  Trevor will be greatly missed by all.  Friends and family are welcome to drop by the house to share condolences.  A celebration of life will be held in the summer at his home.  Donations can be made to Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation – Oncology Department, Spruce Ridge Breakfast Program, or the Durham Food Bank.  Special thank you to Dr. Davies of London, Dr. Sandhu of Owen Sound, Dr. Savaria of Owen Sound, the cancer clinic staff and volunteers at the Owen Sound Regional Hospital, and VON Nurses especially Leeanne.
