Denny Dedels died peacefully at Wiarton Hospital on the morning of November 20, 2019 at the age of 92. Dennis is survived by his wife Dorothy and sons Jim of Newbury and Tom of Wiarton.  He is preceded in death by mother Minerva and father Harvey of Kitchener.  Dennis was born on September 27, 1928 in Paris, Ontario to Harvey and Minerva.  After completing high school and working for a short time in a printing shop in Elora, he moved to London to work for the London Free Press.  He married Dorothy in 1952 and moved to Lambeth to raise his family.  He loved playing the piano, wood working and taught himself electronics.  For the next 42 years he enjoyed working at the London Free Press.  After retiring to Miller Lake, he and Dorothy took care of many children, including foster children.  His positive influence and kind demeanor will be remembered by all of them.  A great husband, wonderful father and very good friend; he will be missed.  There is no official funeral scheduled.  Those wishing to pay their respects can visit Dorothy at home in Wiarton.  The entire family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Grey Bruce Health Services and Participation Lodge for the wonderful care he received.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bruce Peninsula Health Services Foundation would be appreciated.  Online condolences may be made at www.greybrucecremation.com.
