Mark Piercey
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Mark James Piercey, who passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Sunday, January 19, 2020. Mark was a kind soul with the biggest heart and most contagious smile and laughter that anyone knew. He is survived by his sons Terry (Brandice), Mark Jr. (Tali) and Furphy (Amanda), 13 grandchildren and his beloved mother Kathleen Russell. Also survived by his brothers Darius (Cathy), Roy, Joe (Sheri) and Wayne (Pauline) and his sisters Colleen (Paul), Loriann (Mike), Jackie (Grant), Kathleen (Michael) and Darlene (Mike). Mark was loved by his 26 nieces and nephews and 18 great nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his best friends Ron and Teddy Jones. Predeceased by his father Roy Russell, brother Albert, niece Angela and nephews Justin and Ryan. Mark will be greatly missed by many more family and friends. A Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 109 Proton Street North, Dundalk on Saturday, January 25th from 1 – 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations in order to fulfil Mark’s passing wishes. Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services.
