Jean Scott

Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on July 23, 2020 at Grey Bruce Health Services Hospital at the age of 79.  Jean is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Gordon Scott.  Loving mother of Kevin Scott (Jennifer), Brian Scott (Terri) and Paul Scott (Angela).  Cherished grandmother to Owen, Hailey Tyler, Morgan, Alycia and Joshua.  Predeceased by her brother Jim Esplen (Elaine).  She will be missed by her sisters Norma Lockman (Clarence) and Freda Barber (Al) and sister-in-law Elaine as well as many nieces and nephews.  Jean was an active member of the Presbyterian Church in Allenford and Tara, helping with many events including the annual craft show.  Jean worked for many years at the Bank of Montreal.  She was a remarkable homemaker, cook and baker and put the needs of her family before herself.  She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.  Arrangements for a Celebration of Life to take place at a later date yet to be determined.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to Chapman House would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be made at www.greybrucecremation.com.
