James Clazie

September 7, 1934 – September 17, 2020

Jim passed away at his home in Saugeen Shores at the age of 86.  Jim was the son of Grant and Jean (Leask) Clazie.  Beloved husband of Edna (McDonald) for 61 years.  Dear father of Cathy (Wally Brown), Julie (Bob Young), Jean (Dennis Berner), Marj (Fred Cook) and Dave (Peggy).  He was the grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 10.   Predeceased by his parents, sister and brother-in-law Isabel and Jack Underwood, son John Clazie, son-in-law Jamie Malcolm and great granddaughter Stella Berner.   Jim lived his life in Saugeen Shores, spending his retirement at Clazie’s Paradise.  He enjoyed spending his time in his shop working on machines and visiting with his family and friends.  Music was often played at family gatherings.  The family would like to give heartfelt thanks to the Palliative Team with the Southwest LHIN and the GBHS Cancer Centre.  Donations may be made to the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation (Cancer Centre) or a charity of your choice.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services 519-371-8507.
