Burton Speer

Burton Frederick Speer passed away peacefully on March 5, 2021 at the age of 78 in the Southampton Care Centre with family by his side. Born in Tara, Ontario on April 21, 1942.  Son of the late Frederick and Isabelle Speer (nee King), second child of eight. Husband of 53 years to Enid Speer (nee Johner).  He was the loving father of Saralee (Tim) of Port Elgin, Jason (Linda) of Edmonton, Adam of Port Elgin and son Aaron (who passed away on Dec 26, 2019).  He was the beloved Grandpa of Abbey and Ben Cottrell, Taylor and Jordan Price, Tanner, Hailey and Ashton Speer, Dexton Hill, Adalyn Mckinley and Sawyer Speer.  Brother to Kathy, Bryan, Brad, Louise and Pat.  Predeceased by brothers Dave and Jim.  Burt is fondly remembered by Mark, Jerry, Laura, Leslie, Ellen and his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
