Lynn Gray
Lynn Gray passed away peacefully with her daughter and husband by her side at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Thursday, June 24th, 2021, at the age of 68. Born on June 4th, 1953. Predeceased by her father Burke Stannard and her mother Geraldine Stannard. She was the youngest of three children and a beloved sister to Anne Carr (deceased) and Bob Stannard. Dearly loved wife of Kevin Gray for 47 years, she will be deeply missed by their three children, Adam, Dennis (Lisa), and Carolyn. Proud grandmother to Taylor, Ryan, and Julia.
Lynn graduated with honours as the only female in the Geophysics program from the University of Western Ontario. She then went on to teach and spent the majority of her career teaching math and physics at Sacred Heart High School in Walkerton. As a talented pianist, Lynn played for school musical productions, the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Walkerton, choirs, weddings, and funerals. With a passion for plants and gardening, Lynn and her husband, Kevin, opened a perennial business which they ran in the summers. Lynn was truly amazing in all aspects of her life and will be greatly missed by the many people she impacted throughout her years.
