With family by his side, Dave passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at his home in Sauble Beach.  Dave was a larger-than-life man who lived to be with the boys in the bush and the workplace.  He was a devoted IBEW (retired) member, angler, hunter and conservationist.  He was proud of his Prairie roots and loved socializing and sharing stories of the past with family and friends at home and at his favourite “watering holes” like the Walker House.  Avid sports fan of football, hockey and Nascar.  He was an expert forager and took pride in showing his grandkids the woods, but he never divulged his secret morel spots to anyone.  Dave will forever be missed for his special brand of humour and his “Crystal” clear point of view on everything from plaid shirts to daytime politics.

Born March 5, 1948, in Regina, Saskatchewan.  Predeceased by his parents Phyllis Isaac (Haines) and Douglas Isaac and brother Richard Isaac.  Husband to Suzanne, father to Sean (Michele), Arron (Jessica), Karena (Andy) and Erin (Jay).  Loving grandfather to Fiona, Hudson, Sydney, Reagan, Connor, Grace, Chase, Sierra, Kailyn and Sarah and uncle to Ellen.  Lifelong special friend of Linda Purdy, Jim Bassford and John Rankin and his companion Bernie.  Many thanks to a long list of friends and neighbours for their visits and support.

Dave’s family wishes to invite friends to a drop in Celebration of Life at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 155, Southampton on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 2 – 5 p.m.  COVID19 protocols in place, with capacity limits.  Please be prepared to provide proof of full vaccination.

Donations in Dave’s memory can be made to the OFAH Fish & Wildlife Fund www.ofah.org or the Canadian Cancer Society www.cancer.ca.

Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services.

Condolences for David Adair Isaac
