Doris Green
Called home to glory on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Summit Place in her 91st year. Daughter of the late Russell and Gertrude Green. Beloved sister of George Green and his wife Carol of Sauble Beach and Sally Houston of Toronto and sister-in-law of Lois Green of Owen Sound. Predeceased by 7 brothers and 6 sisters. Left to mourn is Lawrence Smith and his wife of Niagara Falls. Cherished godmother to Nancy Bishop of Windsor, Sherry Houston of Toronto and Sibyl McQuilkin-Lendore of Owen Sound. She will be truly missed by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and extended family members who so loved her. Doris was a long standing member of the British Methodists Episcopal Church in Owen Sound and a regular attendee at the Salvation Army Church in Owen Sound. As per Doris’ wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. A family gathering will be set at a later date.
