Doris Oughton

Family is sad to announce that Doris passed away peacefully on November 12, 2022 at the Durham Hospital with her family by her side.  She was 87 years old.  Doris was born October 11, 1935 to William and Esther Simpson.  Doris lived most of her life in Calgary, Alberta.  She was an excellent legal secretary.  In her spare time she loved to crochet blankets for family and friends.  In her later years she moved to Durham, Ontario where she made new friends at the Old Mill Apartments.  Doris was predeceased by her first husband Ron Lucier.  They had two children, Lori (Jeff) of Durham and Paul of Calgary.  Doris was predeceased by her second husband Cal Oughton.  They had one child, Heather (Paul) of Durham.  She is also survived by her brother Dale (Janice) of Canmore, Alberta.  She will be missed and fondly remembered by her 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her sister Irene (Hugh) of Lethbridge, Alberta.  Cremation has taken place.
