John Verdonk

Passed away peacefully at home with family on September 24, 2023 at the age of 85 years.  Lovingly remembered by his children, Scott, Christine, Dawn (Ron) and Jody (Jeff), sisters Elly, Wies, and Inge. Predeceased by his wife Sandra, daughter Debbie, son-in-law Bruce, daughter Janice (Roy), infant daughter Cynthia, siblings Nora and Herman. He will be greatly missed by all of his grandchildren, Samantha, Eric, Sandi, Kaylea, Megan, Ryan, Cynthia, Shawn, Ethan, Wyatt, and Joel. He will also be missed by 5 great-grandchildren.  His family, and the family farm, were most important to John in life. He dedicated his life to raising his family with his wife. John was always active in the community, ready to lend a hand when needed. He was a life time member of the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 383 Tara.  John will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.  A Royal Canadian Legion tribute service will take place at the Tara Legion on October 22, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life.  Online condolences may be made at www.greybrucecremation.com.
