Shirley Earle (nee Owen)

Of Port Elgin, passed away peacefully at the Chapman House Hospice on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Doug Earle and mother to Doug, Owen (Kim) and Eldon. Cherished grandmother of Brandon, Bronwen and Gareth. Survived by her sisters Beatrice (Harvey) and Betty and sister-in-law Alice (Gordon). Born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, Shirley made Port Elgin home for almost 48 years surrounded by many friends, volunteering with many community organizations and serving as Beaver Leader “Bubbles”.

A celebration of life will be held on August 26th at 11:00 a.m. at the Community of Christ Church, 641 Market Street, Port Elgin.
