The family of Doug announces his sudden passing at home in Lion’s Head, in his 75th year. Doug was the loving husband of Barbara. Proud father of Tracy (late Pete Van Ryn) and Derek (Tamara). Grandfather of Josh (deceased), Jacob, Trudy, Alex and Nick. Brother to Lesley (Rick) and Debbie (deceased). Predeceased by his first wife Sandra. Doug was a Life Member of the Grimsby Kinsmen and Past Master Curler in Grimsby. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all emergency responders for their professionalism as well as their kindness at this difficult time. You were all so wonderful. At Doug’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
