Peacefully, with family by his side, Cameron passed away December 17, 2017 at the Southampton Care Centre, Southampton, ON at the age of 75 years.  Cameron is survived by his wife of 49 years Mary Alma MacPherson (Wadden), sons John (Pam) MacPherson of Waterloo, ON and Shawn (Alyssa) MacPherson of Port Elgin, ON, daughters Tracey (Tom) Mombourquette of Langford, BC and Kim (Duane) Lewis of Phoenix, AZ, brother Bill (Shirley) MacPherson of Olds, AB, two sisters Margaret Faltenhine of Halifax, NS and Elizabeth (Don) Von Sprecken of Filmore, SK, and six grandchildren.  Cameron was predeceased by parents Neil Duncan MacPherson and Mary Eileen MacPherson (Oldford) of Glace Bay, Cape Breton, his sister Sandra and her husband Alvin Faltenhine of Halifax, NS and his brother-in-law Orville Faltenhine of Halifax, NS.  His life revolved around hockey, spending many years as a coach and as a member of the Port Elgin Minor Hockey Association executive.  Cameron was a proud Cape Bretoner and retiree of UA Local 527.  Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Cameron’s life will be held at a later date.  The family wishes to thank Dr. Michael Marriott and the staff at the Southampton Care Centre and all the family and friends for their overwhelming support.  Online condolences may be made at www.greybrucecremation.com
