Barbara Janette Neath
November 10, 1942 – October 5, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Barb, after her long battle with cancer. With her family by her side, she passed away peacefully at Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound. Barb was known as “Mom” to so many and was selfless with her time, always there when friends and family needed her. She was the nucleus of our family and will be sadly missed by her husband Jim, daughters Donna (Mark) and Nancy (Pat) and son-in-law Rick. Predeceased by her daughter Kim. Forever remembered by her grandchildren Christina, Melissa, Lauren, Matthew and Holly and grandpuppies Smarty Pants and Oscar. Thank you to Dr. Blake, Dr. Hodgson, Dr. Barfoot, Dr. Abu, the amazing staff at the Owen Sound Hospital and the Chapman House Hospice. We are very grateful for the care given to Barb. Friends and Family are invited to a Celebration of Life at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1450 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound, on Saturday, October 26th 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chapman House Hospice would be appreciated.
