George Leonard William Strutton

March 27, 1959 – December 13, 2019

With great sadness his family announces the passing of George from his battle with cancer on Friday, December 13, 2019, at the Owen Sound Hospital, at the age of 60. He was predeceased by his parents James (Jim) and Leona Strutton (nee Minard) and siblings James Strutton Jr. and Carol MacQueen.

He will be deeply missed by his children Adam and Robin (John), his cherished grandchildren James, Nicholas, fur-grandbabies, and his companion dog Morgan, his siblings Bill, Charlie, Audrey, Chris, Sherrie and Bekkie. George will also be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Cremation has taken place through Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services. He will be laid to rest July 27, 2020 at 11 a.m. with his mother and sister at the Greenwood Cemetery in Owen Sound.

Anyone who knew George, knew he loved motorcycles and animals. He was a valued club member for many years to the Association of Bikers for Awareness Training & Education, Chapter 10.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to them or to the local Humane Society on his behalf.
