John Teskey

1938 – 2020

John Teskey passed away suddenly at his home on July 30, 2020 at the age of 82.  Beloved husband and best friend to Lynne (nee Campbell) for 53 years. John played life like he played hockey, and was a winner in both.  He served 7 years in the military, four of which were spent in Germany with the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada.  He loved farm life and was always excited to see a new crop of calves on the ground and the barns filled with fresh hay and straw. John will be missed by his wife, Lynne, his sons, Mark (Jenn) of Newbrooke, Alberta, Stephen of Pembroke, Ontario, and daughter Jena (Mark) Winterburn of Kilworth, Ontario. Loving grandfather to Daryl, Melanie, Keira, Maddy, River and Ruby and great-grandfather to Olivia and Ariana. He is survived by his sister, Anne (Murray) Batte of Winnipeg, Manitoba.  He was predeceased by his parents John and Mary (Manners) Teskey.  Cremation has taken place.  A private graveside service will take place at the Kincardine Cemetery.  If desired, donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Kincardine Branch, or charity of your choice.
