Rena Fidler
Rena Fidler of Hanover passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late William Fidler. Dear mother of Ken Fidler and Darlene Fidler, both of Hanover. Proud grandmother of Chris and Graham. Rena will be remembered by her brothers Tom Thomson of Hawkestone and Gordon (Donna) Thomson of Sarnia, stepsisters Leone McDonald of Allenford, Merle Strong of Waterloo and Elva Middleton of North Bay and stepbrother Dick Middleton of Hanover. Predeceased by her father Leslie Thomson, her mother Frances (nee Christie), stepfather William Middleton, daughters Colleen Fidler (1963) and Leone Geiger (2005), brothers Alvin and Lorne Thomson, stepsisters Evelyn Primmer and Elda Ward and stepbrothers Sydney, Murray, Charlie and John Middleton. At Rena’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
