Ken Macdonald of Durham passed away at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Sunday, May 23, 2021, in his 94th year.  Beloved husband of the late Marjorie (nee Wolfe), who predeceased him August 21, 2020.  Ken is survived by his niece Judy Sheridan, nephews Robert Cliffe, Gareth Macdonald, David Marshall and Rick Marshall and his sister-in-law Audrey Marshall.  Predeceased by his parents William and Gladys (Lawrence) Macdonald, brother Verdun Macdonald, sisters Florence Macdonald and Dorothy Cliffe and niece Cheryl Chase.

Ken was a former mayor of the Town of Durham.  He was a commercial beekeeper his entire life, a profession he enjoyed immensely, and was a Past President of the Ontario Beekeepers’ Association.  Ken and Marjorie supplied honey to the residents of Durham and area for many years.

Cremation has taken place.  A graveside service will be held at Durham Cemetery at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.  Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services 519-371-8507.
