Susan Hutchinson

Susan Eleanor Hutchinson of Bentinck Township, passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side, in her 78th year, on May 12, 2025. She will be deeply missed by the love of her life Bryan Schenk and her family. Loving mother of Martha (Mike) Cunningham, Jacqueline (Jason) Davidson, Scott (Elaine) Cunningham and stepchildren Tracy (Nuno) Nogeira and Douglas Hutchinson. Beloved Nana to Cole, Matthew, Sherri and Shawn and Nana Sue to 8 wonderful grandchildren. Fondly remembered by sisters Gwynnith Redford and Jillian Karn, as well as her 8 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father Lloyd (Jack) and mother Margaret (Peggy) Redford, husbands Carl Hutchinson and Dennis Cunningham. She was active in her community as a former police and fire dispatcher, as well as President of the Ayton Optimist Club and supporting environmental protection. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Hanover Legion on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Saugeen Hospice would be appreciated.
