Brenda Patterson

Brenda Ann Patterson (Dentinger), of Hanover, passed away after a lengthy illness at Chapman House, Owen Sound on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the age of 68.

Brenda was born in Walkerton on February 22, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Norman and Helen Dentinger (Schuett). She worked as a dental secretary for many years.

Beloved wife of Ron for 35 years. Loving mother of Lindsay (Joel Alton) of Lucknow. Cherished grandma of Scottie Rae and Maverick Stuart Alton. She is survived by her siblings Janis (Doug), Lori (Trevor), Mary (Mike) and Cathy. Brenda will be sadly missed by her sisters Lynn Dentinger and Karen (Doug) Busby, who provided care and compassion throughout her illness. Also survived by her sisters-in-law Jana Dentinger and Donna Patterson, brother-in-law Terry (Joanne) Patterson and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Paul Dentinger, nephew Brayden Berberich and mother-in-law Mary Patterson.

Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will be held. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grey Bruce Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
